Inspired by our Ocean
I decided to start Azure Cove so I could share the creations that I have proudly worn for the last 5 years.
Creating jewellery is something I enjoyed doing for myself as I found the rugged, natural beauty of mother nature far more spectacular than the mass produced jewelry you’d find online.
Making my own jewellery from the shells I found myself on my ocean adventures always felt far more grounding and precious to wear.
Along side the jewellery, I share my art. I hope it finds a special place in your heart and your home!

Where do you get your Abalone?
The abalone I use in my crafts has either been sourced from locals that have hunted abalone and discarded the shells or it has been found on beach walks or diving.
The Margaret River abalone has been sourced from locals, whereas the Exmouth abalone has been found over very many years of beach combing.
There is minimal Perth abalone shell which I sometimes collect when I visit.
I currently also hold very minimal New Zealand abalone which has been bought from a local jewelry store, although will not be holding more crafts from this shell once stock runs out.
Does that mean I could run out if I’m not buying it in bulk online? Yes! although that’s something I am happy to do.
The stock I hold online is only in reflection to the shell I have available and each piece created is far more precious knowing its local to Western Australia.
